The Edward P. Evans Foundation was established in 1984. During Mr. Evans’ lifetime, the Foundation supported a variety of causes and made transformational gifts to institutions. Following Mr. Evans’ death on December 31, 2010 and in keeping with his wishes, the mandate of the Foundation was amended to establish the Foundation’s primary mission: supporting transformational and collaborative medical research in the areas of Myelodysplastic Syndromes and Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Our secondary missions include funding capital projects at educational institutions and supporting modern American visual arts, including sporting art.
